Hydraulic Breaker Pistons
Match a replacement piston by the breaker assembly and the complete piston profile. Overall length is only one reference; the diameters, shoulders and end details must correspond to the correct part drawing.

Document the full profile
Use a side view to show the stepped profile and separate close-ups for both ends. Label the dimensions at their reference points so that each diameter and shoulder can be compared with the proposed replacement. Include the original part reference or any readable marking.
Send the overall length and available section dimensions with their units. Distinguish drawing dimensions from measurements taken on a used piston, and identify any damaged area that may affect the measurement.
- Breaker model or identification plate and a piston part number, if known.
- A full side view and clear photographs of both end faces.
- Available section dimensions, an existing drawing or previous order reference.
- The requested quantity and any other parts to quote as separate items.
Resolve profile and version questions
Before ordering, ask for confirmation of the proposed piston reference and the dimensions used to match it. Any unclear section or version detail should be resolved in the quotation review. Photographs can begin the conversation when a part number is missing, but a visual resemblance by itself should not be treated as a confirmed match.
Piston inquiries
Can I start with photographs only?
Yes. Include the breaker identity if available. The review can establish which additional reference details or dimensions are needed.
Should I send measurements from a used piston?
You can share existing measurements, but identify their source and note visible wear or damage so they are not mistaken for original drawing dimensions.
Can a drawing replace a part number?
A clear dimensioned drawing can support the review. Include its reference or version and the breaker identification whenever available.
