BREAKER PARTS & SUPPORT

Hydraulic Breaker Seal Kits

NEWLAND supplies hydraulic breaker seal kits for model-specific parts orders. The correct kit is defined by the breaker assembly, seal positions and kit contents, rather than a similar bag of seals. Send the breaker identity, parts drawing and required repair scope so your quotation can identify the matching kit and any components quoted separately.

Identify the assembly the kit belongs to

A breaker can contain seals in different assemblies. A description such as complete seal kit needs a defined contents list so the buyer knows which positions are covered. NEWLAND can supply seal-kit requirements against the identified breaker and assembly reference; the quotation should make that boundary visible.

An overhaul inquiry and an isolated replacement inquiry may need different supply scopes. Describe what has been inspected and which assembly is involved. This allows the parts discussion to distinguish the seals from a diaphragm, bushing, piston or other component that may be ordered at the same time.

Build a reliable identification record

The breaker identification and drawing reference are the best starting points. When those are unavailable, provide clear photographs of the assembly and the removed parts with a labeled measurement record. A worn or deformed seal should not be treated as an exact drawing of the original part.

  • Breaker model, serial identification and any assembly revision.
  • Parts drawing, seal position numbers and requested quantity.
  • Photographs showing profiles and the arrangement of removed items.
  • Available groove or mating-component records from the inspection.
  • Whether you require a complete kit or specified positions only.

Agree kit contents before the order

Ask the offer to identify the kit reference and contents, including quantities where they are needed to distinguish the scope. Seals that look similar may belong to different positions or configurations. Keep the agreed contents record with the order rather than relying only on a bag photograph.

Kit selection and installation are separate tasks. The component condition and the applicable assembly procedure still need to be reviewed by the person carrying out the work. A new kit should not be presented as a diagnosis of why the original assembly leaked or failed.

Questions about seal kits

Does a seal kit include the accumulator diaphragm?

Do not assume that it does. Request an itemized kit list and specify any diaphragm or accumulator components separately so the quotation identifies the actual supplied contents.

Can I order using seal dimensions alone?

Dimensions help, but profile, position and assembly identity also matter. Send the drawing or position reference and photographs with measurements so NEWLAND can review a clearly identified requirement.

How do I keep repeat orders consistent?

Retain the approved kit reference, contents list and breaker revision. Use those details when reordering and identify any change in the assembly before applying an earlier parts reference.

Is a hydraulic breaker mechanical seal the same as a seal kit?

The phrase hydraulic breaker mechanical seal is too broad to identify an order. It may be used loosely for breaker sealing parts, while a mechanical face seal can describe a different assembly with mating sealing faces. Neither label defines the contents of a NEWLAND breaker seal kit.

Identify the breaker assembly and the drawing position first. Specify whether the request concerns an individual sealing element, a defined set of hydraulic seals or another separately identified component. Keep the profile, dimensions and function with that reference rather than replacing it with a general seal name. A pump or carrier-motor seal is a separate component requirement and should not be assumed to be included in a breaker kit. The quotation should state the supplied kit reference and contents before the order is confirmed.
