NEWLAND Box Type hydraulic breaker — representative image

The NEWLAND NLB40 Box Type hydraulic breaker uses an enclosed housing layout. Start with the NLB model reference range of 0.8-2.5 Ton, 15-30 L/min required oil flow and a 40 mm working tool, then confirm the complete mounting and hydraulic package.

Housing: Box Type
Carrier range: 0.8-2.5 Ton
Required oil flow: 15-30 L/min
Tool diameter: 40 mm

Excavator ranges and hydraulic specifications are NLB series reference values. Confirm the complete Box Type assembly and attachment mass for your carrier.

These figures come from the NEWLAND NLB series specification sheet. Operating weight is a series reference: confirm the quoted housing, bracket, working tool and included components before checking the complete attachment load.

The sheet lists Ton as the carrier-weight unit. Confirm the unit basis against the excavator documentation. Setting pressure and operating pressure are separate fields; these figures are not an installation or adjustment procedure.

Start with the lower carrier range

NLB40 has the lowest listed carrier range in the NLB catalog. The series reference operating weight is 102 kg, compared with 129 kg for NLB45. This helps distinguish the two candidates when attachment load is a deciding factor, but the delivered bracket and housing configuration still need to be identified. Review the excavator’s permitted attachment load and mounting geometry alongside its stated weight; a carrier inside 0.8–2.5 Ton is a candidate for checking, rather than an automatic match.

Check the circuit against 15–30 L/min

The specified operating pressure is 90–120 Bar, while setting pressure is listed separately at 150 Bar. These describe different specification fields and should remain separate in a purchase comparison. Ask for the carrier’s auxiliary flow information and circuit details so the proposed installation can be assessed against both values. The listed 1/2 Inch hose diameter does not identify the hose fittings or establish that an existing line is suitable. Include connection details when reviewing the hydraulic package.

Compare NLB40 with the next two models

NLB40 and NLB45 share the 90–120 Bar operating pressure range, but NLB45 calls for 20–40 L/min and lists 271 J rather than 203 J. Their carrier ranges overlap from 1.2 to 2.5 Ton. NLB53’s range starts at 2.5 Ton, so its carrier overlap with NLB40 is only that endpoint. Compare hydraulic capacity, attachment load and the work requirement before choosing between them. For future tool inquiries, identify NLB40 and the 40 mm diameter together, then confirm the full tool geometry.

Compare NLB40 with related NLB models

Use these catalog figures to shortlist candidates. An overlapping carrier range does not establish hydraulic compatibility or mounting fit.

NLB40 selection questions

Does a 2.5 Ton excavator have to use NLB40?

No. That listed carrier weight also falls within NLB45’s range and at NLB53’s lower endpoint. Available auxiliary flow, permitted attachment load and mounting dimensions help determine which proposal is suitable. The carrier weight alone does not select one of these models.
