NLB85 Box Type Hydraulic Breaker

NEWLAND Box Type hydraulic breaker — representative image
The NEWLAND NLB85 Box Type hydraulic breaker uses an enclosed housing layout. Start with the NLB model reference range of 7-14 Ton, 60-100 L/min required oil flow and a 85 mm working tool, then confirm the complete mounting and hydraulic package.
Housing: Box Type
Carrier range: 7-14 Ton
Required oil flow: 60-100 L/min
Tool diameter: 85 mm
Excavator ranges and hydraulic specifications are NLB series reference values. Confirm the complete Box Type assembly and attachment mass for your carrier.

NLB85 specifications
| Specification | Listed value |
|---|---|
| Suitable excavator range | 7-14 Ton |
| Operating weight — series reference | 629 kg |
| Required oil flow | 60-100 L/min |
| Setting pressure | 190 bar |
| Operating pressure | 130-160 bar |
| Impact energy | 1355 J |
| Impact rate | 400-800 blows/min |
| Hose diameter | 3/4 inch |
| Tool diameter | 85 mm |
These figures come from the NEWLAND NLB series specification sheet. Operating weight is a series reference: confirm the quoted housing, bracket, working tool and included components before checking the complete attachment load.
The sheet lists Ton as the carrier-weight unit. Confirm the unit basis against the excavator documentation. Setting pressure and operating pressure are separate fields; these figures are not an installation or adjustment procedure.
A broad carrier range with two useful comparisons
NLB85 overlaps NLB75 from 7 to 9 Ton and NLB100 from 10 to 14 Ton. A carrier in either overlap needs a hydraulic and attachment-load review to narrow the choice. The NLB85 series reference operating weight is 629 kg, compared with 413 kg for NLB75 and 948 kg for NLB100. Ask for the weight of the actual quoted assembly and confirm its mounting arrangement. The catalog range is a screening reference, rather than approval for every excavator within it.
Review flow, pressure and the hose interface
NLB85 requires 60–100 L/min and lists 130–160 Bar operating pressure. Its separate setting-pressure figure is 190 Bar. NLB100 raises the required flow to 80–110 L/min and lists 150–170 Bar operating pressure, so a larger model changes the circuit requirement as well as the impact-energy figure. NLB85 also moves to a listed 3/4 Inch hose diameter from NLB75’s 1/2 Inch. Verify the actual connections and circuit arrangement rather than treating hose diameter as a complete installation specification.
Choose using energy and tool size together
The NLB85 has an 85 mm tool and lists 1355 J impact energy. NLB75 lists 75 mm and 1017 J; NLB100 lists 100 mm and 2033 J. NLB85’s 400–800 Bpm rate matches NLB75’s stated range, but NLB100 lists 350–700 Bpm. These are separate characteristics, not a guaranteed ranking of job output. Describe the intended material, access and working conditions when asking NEWLAND to review a shortlist. For replacement tools, retain the NLB85 reference and confirm the complete shank and retention geometry as well as diameter.
Compare NLB85 with related NLB models
Use these catalog figures to shortlist candidates. An overlapping carrier range does not establish hydraulic compatibility or mounting fit.
NLB85 selection questions
Should a 10 Ton excavator use NLB85 or NLB100?
Both include 10 Ton in their listed carrier ranges. Compare the available auxiliary flow, allowed attachment load and mounting dimensions: NLB85 lists 60–100 L/min and 629 kg reference weight, while NLB100 lists 80–110 L/min and 948 kg. Confirm the delivered configuration before ordering.
